EXPLORE THE BEAUTIFUL MURALS OF DOWNTOWN DURHAM WITH TOURS CO-ORGANIZED BY THE NASHER MUSEUM OF ART, PRESERVATION DURHAM, and THE MUSEUM OF DURHAM HISTORY

 

Tours will be held the first saturday of the montH

Time: 10-11:30am (May 6 - November 4)
Location: Meet at DURHAM CENTRAL PARK PAVILION

 

Approximately 13 murals will be featured, including: Untitled (Manbites Dog Theater), Angel of Spring, Wall of Hope, Untitled (The Cookery), Two-Way Bridges, Black Wall Street, Durham Civil Rights, Pauli Murray, and Time Bridge BY ODILI DONALD ODITA COMMISSIONED BY THE NASHER MUSEUM.

Tours are designed for anyone with a bicycle and comfortable riding on city streets. Experienced cyclists will guide each tour, which lasts about 90 minutes (7 miles). BYOB — bring your own bike. Helmets required. Tours depart at 10 AM from the Durham central park pavilion. Please check in 15 minutes early.
